Supporting Our Communities

As an impact-driven company, we have a proud tradition of helping communities where we live and work and supporting community organizations that align with our purpose of advancing health outcomes for all.

Whether it’s through our annual employee engagement events like Community Impact Days or the American Cancer Society’s Fit2BeCancerFree National Challenge, we are committed to providing opportunities for Team McKesson to drive positive change in communities across North America.

Community Impact Days

Community Impact Days has been McKesson’s largest annual company-wide employee engagement event for the past 25 years. This year’s event will take place August 15 – September 26, 2023. Employees in the U.S. and Canada will participate in a variety of community impact projects such as putting together care kits to cleaning up and planting in community gardens.

Raising awareness for cancer prevention and treatment

McKesson is on a mission to improve health outcomes, and one way we do this is by supporting programs that serve patients who are impacted by serious health conditions, such as cancer. Each year, we recognize events like World Cancer Day, National Cancer Survivorship Month and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and bring awareness to our employees. We also partner with cancer-focused community organizations like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and American Cancer Society (ACS) and Team McKesson participates in ACS’ Fit2BeCancerFree National Challenge.
