Scott Miller is responsible for the full operation of the hospital and health systems segment which includes field sales and national group purchase organization accounts, marketing, operations and development and innovation of value-added solutions and services such as McKesson Macro Helix and 340B Consulting.
Scott joined McKesson in 2002 as vice president of sales, Health Systems. Prior to joining the organization, he held several sales and sales management roles with Kraft General Foods.
In 2004, he joined the Health Systems national accounts team. In his role as vice president of sales, he managed key relationships such as Vizient, Broadlane, Tenet Healthcare and Omnicare. Three years later, Scott served as vice president general manager for two of the southeastern markets overseeing sales and operations in Lakeland, FL and Duluth, GA.
Prior to his current role, Scott served as a regional senior vice president of Customer Operations for the south region, encompassing sales, operations and people management for more than 1,000 associates across six distribution centers. Under his leadership, the segment made key investments to its value propositions and go-to-market strategies resulting in increased market share.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University.
