McKesson Medical-Surgical has stopped shipping the products specified in FDA’s Warning Letters issued on March 18, 2024 and July 18, 2024. McKesson Medical-Surgical continues to engage with Cardinal Health regarding the Warning Letter it received on April 24, 2024 to determine if any additional action is required.
We continue to work with our suppliers to help ensure that all necessary actions are taken with respect to the Warning Letters, Import Alerts and subsequent product holds and recalls. This includes both privately labeled McKesson Brands and national brand products. We are also continuing to transition away from plastic syringes manufactured by the China-based suppliers noted in FDA’s updated Safety Communication.
