McKesson Medical-Surgical Actions

McKesson Medical-Surgical has stopped shipping the products specified in FDA’s Warning Letters issued on   March 18, 2024, July 18, 2024, and April 24, 2024. We continue to work with our suppliers to help ensure that all necessary actions are taken in response to Warning Letters, Import Alerts and recalls. This applies to both our privately labeled McKesson Brands and national brand products and convenience kits containing plastic syringes.    

We are also continuing to transition away from plastic syringes manufactured by the China-based suppliers noted in FDA’s updated Safety Communication.

McKesson Brand Products Identified in March 18, 2024 Warning Letters

These three McKesson Brands syringes have also been recalled by either the manufacturer or by the McKesson Medical Surgical-affiliated importer of McKesson Brands syringes, Cypress Medical Products, LLC. We have communicated the recalls to our customers who have purchased these items.
